Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at Cedar Ridge Center
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient status and interventions in the electronic medical record clearly and timely
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and promote wellness

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state requirements apply)
• Travel nurse experience or prior acute/long-term care experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (recommended to have upon start)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you’ll fit right in if you ask great questions and jump in to help

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/ASN/BSN) - BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration and nursing interventions
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in stressful situations
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient- and family-centered care
• Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols
