Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and/or geriatric patients as assigned
• Assess patient status, monitor vitals, and intervene promptly when changes occur
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote successful transitions
• Partner with local staff to maintain standards of care and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license — able to practice in Maine (compact license accepted if applicable)
• Travel RN experience preferred; open to clinicians who thrive in short-term assignments
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or as required by unit
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable with strong teamwork and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfort with medication administration, IV therapy, and treatments common to inpatient settings
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and adapt to facility protocols
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
