Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility) while preserving dignity
- Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support restorative and recreational activities to promote resident well-being
- Communicate clearly with the care team and families to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) — required
- Travel LNA / T-LNA experience or willingness to work as a travel LNA — preferred
- Current New Hampshire LNA licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Ability to work the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift for the assignment duration
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and standard immunizations
Education
- LNA / CNA certification required; High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and providing hands-on resident care
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, observing and reporting changes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within an interdisciplinary care team
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with residents
