Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Monitor residents’ condition and accurately document observations and vital signs
• Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to reduce fall risk
• Communicate changes in status promptly to nurses and the care team
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment
• Respect resident dignity and privacy while promoting independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent, high-quality care
• Contribute to a positive resident experience through friendly, attentive service

Qualifications

• Current LNA (or T-LNA) certification required; must be eligible to practice in Vermont
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Negative TB test and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
• Ability to work nights and commit to every-other-weekend coverage
• Clean background check and ability to pass required onboarding screenings
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in long-term care settings

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; LNA/T-LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident care and bedside skills with attention to detail
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy environment
• Team-oriented mindset and adaptability in a travel assignment
