Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Perform assessments and communicate patient status effectively to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — travel credentialing preferred
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification or equivalent (if required by facility)
• Comfort with travel assignments and adapting to new facility protocols
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident assessment, vital signs, and charting
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Care plan implementation and interdisciplinary communication
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
