Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and angiography procedures with precision and attention to safety
• Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and angiography imaging systems according to protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, IV access support, and explaining the process
• Apply radiation safety and sterile technique to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, and technologists to deliver excellent patient care
• Document procedures, images, and patient status accurately in the medical record
• Assist with inventory, equipment checks, and ensuring procedure rooms are ready for the next case

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(ARRT) required
• BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Current state license with verification completed prior to start
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Willingness to complete required health screenings and immunizations as listed by the facility
• Per diem availability and flexibility to cover day shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology and angiography techniques
• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety best practices
• Patient positioning and procedural preparation for IR cases
• Familiarity with sterile technique and infection control in procedural suites
• Clear communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced procedural team
• Attention to detail for image quality, documentation, and equipment checks
