Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate
• Provide direct telemetry patient care and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Communicate promptly with physicians about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results
• Educate patients and families, guiding them through treatments and recovery
• Collaborate with the care team and direct activities of other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care
• Respond quickly and accurately to clinical changes and emergent cardiac events
• Document care and clinical observations accurately in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license (able to practice in CA)
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
• Willingness and ability to complete required pre-employment screenings (drug screen, TB test, fit test, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Hands-on direct patient care and nursing process
• EPIC EMR documentation and workflows
• ACLS and BLS protocols
• Basic ventilator management familiarity
• Clear communication with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to respond calmly in high-acuity situations
