Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care at the Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
• Support mobility and safe transfers while promoting independence
• Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Follow MDRC and facility-specific protocols and documentation practices
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control procedures
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Familiarity or experience with MDRC processes is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work per diem/open schedule and adapt to varying shift assignments
• Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on caregiving skills and personal care techniques
• Good observation and communication skills for reporting resident changes
• Basic charting and documentation abilities
• Infection control and safe patient handling knowledge
• Teamwork mindset and professional bedside manner
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
