Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist cardiology team during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures with focused attention to patient safety
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile fields to ensure smooth, efficient procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry during procedures and communicate changes promptly
• Manage inventory and restock supplies so the team never misses a beat
• Perform quality checks and document procedure details accurately for patient records and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to optimize patient flow and outcomes

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) — required
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and license/certificate verification
• Current immunizations and health screenings as listed: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement, and Trinity 10-panel drug screen
• Previous experience in a cath lab or interventional cardiology setting preferred
• Ability to pass required fit test and facility-specific onboarding checks

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited cardiovascular technologist or related program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety principles
• Familiarity with cath lab equipment, monitors, and instrumentation
• Strong patient monitoring and assessment skills during invasive procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure clinical environments
• Comfortable with documentation and following clinical protocols
