Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to preserve independence
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately and promptly
• Communicate changes in a resident’s condition to the nursing team and document observations
• Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Ability to meet facility immunization and background check requirements
• Comfortable with direct resident care and basic clinical tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and punctual
• Willingness to work per diem daytime shifts (as-needed scheduling)

Education

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient hygiene and activities of daily living
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safety practices
• Basic charting and familiarity with clinical documentation
• Compassionate resident-centered care and effective communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
