Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any concerns to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe and comfortable patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Provide compassionate bedside care while observing and documenting changes in condition
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous CNA or direct patient care experience a plus
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Basic charting and communication with the nursing team

This per diem position gives you a chance to explore the beautiful Rio Rancho and nearby Albuquerque.
