Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support safely
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate observations clearly
• Support a collaborative care team to ensure comfortable, dignified care
• Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
• Proof of required immunizations and a clear background check/drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to stand, lift, and assist patients as needed for shift duration
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient hygiene, transfers, and basic nursing tasks
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and intake/output
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with nurses
• Basic familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
• Team player mindset with strong observational skills
