Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans with precision and patient-centered care during night hours
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for call-ins
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to deliver timely, accurate imaging studies
• Triage night-time imaging requests and respond promptly to call-in cases
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Complete accurate documentation, image archiving, and electronic charting for every exam
• Participate in competency evaluations and skills checklists to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• DCI/BVP certification required
• Certified CT Technologist (CT technologist credentials preferred or required by facility)
• Willingness and ability to work nights and participate in every third weekend rotation
• Available for on-call coverage approximately 4 times per month to support night call-ins
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist as required
• Ability to pass required screenings: drug screen, fit test, TB screening, and vaccine requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong CT imaging skills and familiarity with CT protocols
• Comfort working independently during night shift and responding to urgent imaging needs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning best practices
• Detail-oriented documentation and PACS/image archiving skills
• Professional communication with radiologists, nurses, and night-shift teams
