Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedural areas for interventional radiology cases with attention to safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain imaging and procedural equipment, following DCI/BVP protocols where applicable
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining sterile technique
• Document procedures, patient information and charge capture accurately in EPIC—EPIC experience is required
• Respond promptly and professionally when on-call, providing skilled technical support for urgent cases
• Perform and document required competency checks and participate in required exams and checklists

Qualifications

• EPIC experience required—comfortable documenting procedures and charting in the system
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Valid state license/certification with License/Certificate Verification prior to start
• Willingness and availability to participate in on-call rotation (15 days/month)
• Ability to pass Prime drug screening (minimum 10-panel) and Prime color-blind test
• Up-to-date immunizations and screenings per requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing/clearance, fit test
• Successful completion of required competency exams: Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy/angiography imaging equipment and procedural workflow
• Excellent EPIC documentation skills and electronic charting accuracy
• Ability to respond effectively during on-call situations and urgent procedures
• Clear communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
• Attention to detail for safety checks, equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance
