Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform Cath Lab and interventional radiology procedures with attention to sterile technique and patient safety
• Prepare, operate and troubleshoot imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and techs to ensure efficient, high-quality procedural flow
• Monitor patients pre-, intra- and post-procedure and communicate changes promptly
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and assist with inventory and equipment checks
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond professionally to emergent cases

Qualifications

• Current BLS required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Active healthcare license/certification with verification as required by facility
• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology technologist preferred
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies exam, Prime Skills checklist and Prime Specialty exam
• Successful completion of background checks, 10-panel drug screen and color-blind test
• Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Tdap, Varicella, yearly flu, TB testing, fit testing)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with cath lab imaging systems and interventional radiology equipment
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, contrast handling and radiation safety
• Ability to monitor hemodynamics and recognize acute changes
• Skilled in vascular access support and procedural instrumentation
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting procedural data
• Excellent communication, teamwork and on-call responsiveness
