Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Laboratory
• Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data continuously during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assess procedure room and equipment functioning; ensure procedure readiness
• Obtain and manage supplies for individual cases and maintain inventory
• Communicate continuously with physicians and the care team about patient condition
• Assist with equipment maintenance and participate in performance improvement activities
• Participate in continuous quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• BLS, ACLS and DCI/BVP certifications required
• Experience in Cath Lab or cardiovascular lab procedures preferred
• Ability to monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and patient rhythms
• Must be able to pass required health screenings (drug screen, TB test, immunizations) and competency exams
• Comfort with equipment/inventory management and procedure room setup
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with physicians and lab team

Education

• Active RN license required; ADN/BSN acceptable (BSN preferred where available)

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiovascular monitoring and hemodynamic interpretation
• Patient assessment and peri-procedural care for adult/geriatric populations
• Procedure room readiness and equipment checks
• Supply and inventory management for procedural settings
• Basic pharmacology, rhythm interpretation, and specialty cath lab skills
