Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered gastroenterology care across clinic and hospital settings
• Perform a wide range of procedures including colonoscopy, EGD (upper GI endoscopy), ERCP, EUS, enteroscopy, hemorrhoid banding and flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Provide infusion therapies, telehealth visits, nutrition counseling and video capsule endoscopy as part of comprehensive care
• Cover hospital patients on a 1:3 single hospital call schedule and coordinate inpatient care with team members
• Manage a typical outpatient panel of approximately 15–18 patients per day while maintaining excellent documentation and follow-up
• Collaborate with MD/DO colleagues and APPs to drive practice efficiency, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction
• Participate in practice growth initiatives and support associate-to-partner transitions where applicable

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (Physician)
• Board certified, board eligible, or previously board certified (will consider prior certification case-by-case)
• Accepting new graduate candidates through 2025 — early-career physicians welcome
• Permanent candidate only (not accepting visa candidates and not accepting locum candidates)
• Willingness to participate in hospital call coverage and collaborate in a multi-provider practice

Education

• MD or DO (Physician)
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology preferred/expected

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical expertise in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures
• Comfortable performing advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS) and diagnostic/treatment procedures
• Experience or interest in infusion services and telehealth delivery
• Ability to manage clinic flow and deliver efficient, compassionate outpatient care
• Team-oriented communication skills and willingness to mentor/partner with APPs and colleagues
• Interest in practice development, productivity tracking and potential partner-track responsibilities
