Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Location: Greater Phoenix, AZ
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Rotating 12- and 24-hour shifts including evening coverage; Level III-IV NICUs: evening shift coverage alongside a Neonatologist; Level II units: 24/7 in-house coverage. Specific start/end times vary by unit and are scheduled per team.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert neonatal patient care in Level III-IV NICU settings
- Collaborate closely with Neonatologists to manage high-risk deliveries and NICU patients
- Attend deliveries and share responsibility for delivery coverage with the physician team
- Staff and manage Level II Special Care Nursery units with in-house presence as required
- Participate in daily rounds and be available for in-person emergencies in covered units
- Deliver compassionate, family-centered care and clear communication with parents and care teams
Qualifications
- NNP Board Certification required (FNP, PNP or other NP certs are not accepted)
- Providers with 2+ years of NNP experience are highly preferred
- Willingness to work evening shifts and a combination of 12- and 24-hour schedules
- Ability to practice in Arizona (state licensure expectations apply)
- This position is not accepting Locum candidates or visa sponsorship applicants
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong neonatal patient care skills across Level III-IV NICU environments
- Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team with Neonatologists
- Comfort and competence attending high-risk deliveries
- Familiarity with Level II Special Care Nursery workflows and 24/7 in-house coverage
- Ability to triage and respond to neonatal emergencies; no transport duties required
