Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cardiovascular care to adults, delivering thoughtful, evidence-based treatment
• Participate in shared on-call coverage and support complex cardiac procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists to coordinate patient care
• Offer patients access to clinical trials and cutting-edge therapies to expand care options
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and outcomes
• Engage with colleagues across the UCHealth and Regional West partnership to ensure seamless, consistent heart care

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in cardiology (non-invasive or invasive)
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Board eligible or board certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Open to fellows who will be graduating in 2024
• Not accepting Locum candidates; UCHealth clears names system-wide
• No visa sponsorship available (Not accepting Visa candidates)

Education

• Fellowship training in Cardiology
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and cardiovascular disease eligibility/certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge of cardiology and cardiovascular disease
• Experience with non-invasive and/or invasive cardiology procedures
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary care models and teamwork
• Comfort participating in and supporting clinical trials
• Ability to work with advanced technologies and evidence-based therapies
• Skilled communicator who explains complex care options clearly to patients
