Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality cardiovascular care to adults, delivering thoughtful, evidence-based treatment
- Participate in shared on-call coverage and support complex cardiac procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists to coordinate patient care
- Offer patients access to clinical trials and cutting-edge therapies to expand care options
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and outcomes
- Engage with colleagues across the UCHealth and Regional West partnership to ensure seamless, consistent heart care
Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained in cardiology (non-invasive or invasive)
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board eligible or board certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Open to fellows who will be graduating in 2024
- Not accepting Locum candidates; UCHealth clears names system-wide
- No visa sponsorship available (Not accepting Visa candidates)
Education
- Fellowship training in Cardiology
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and cardiovascular disease eligibility/certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiology and cardiovascular disease
- Experience with non-invasive and/or invasive cardiology procedures
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary care models and teamwork
- Comfort participating in and supporting clinical trials
- Ability to work with advanced technologies and evidence-based therapies
- Skilled communicator who explains complex care options clearly to patients
