Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 min meal break) or Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30 min meal break) (Day shift)
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to implement nutrition interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to meet evolving clinical needs
- Provide evidence-based nutrition education to patients, families and staff
- Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in the medical record with clarity and accuracy
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
- California licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure preferred
- Clinical experience in acute care, long-term care or correctional healthcare is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Valid BLS/CPR certification if required by facility policies
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field (or equivalent) — completion of an accredited dietetics program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical nutrition assessment and care planning
- Medical nutrition therapy for chronic and acute conditions
- Electronic medical record documentation
- Strong patient education and counseling skills
- Ability to work within institutional policies and multidisciplinary teams
