Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mental health assessments and evidence-based treatment for patients in a substance abuse treatment setting
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans that drive recovery outcomes
• Deliver individual and group therapy focused on substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health concerns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Conduct crisis assessments and intervene safely and effectively when needed
• Participate in orientation and training to maintain best practices and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Valid PSYL (Psychologist) or LCSW license; LMFT or LPCC candidates will also be considered
• Experience or training in substance abuse treatment and mental health care
• Ability to work the scheduled Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM shift
• Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with treatment planning
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills for work in a multidisciplinary facility
• Active or eligible for licensure in California

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance use disorder treatment
• Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning
• Experience running therapeutic groups and individual psychotherapy
• Crisis intervention and risk assessment competency
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
• Cultural competence and trauma-informed care approach
