Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and fall prevention measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and follow facility protocols
• Support a positive, respectful environment that promotes resident dignity and independence
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

• Current LNA license (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in good standing
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
• Comfortable working evening shifts and every other weekend as required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Current CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and successful state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Knowledge of basic infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately document observations
• Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered approach
• Time management skills to support efficient shift coverage
