Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Management & Accreditation program across the system, setting strategic direction and operational priorities
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance
• Oversee infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, credentialing, and quality initiatives
• Drive performance improvement using rapid PDSA cycles and SEARHC quality concepts to raise standards across departments
• Collaborate with EHR staff to build quality measurement capacity and generate actionable quality reports
• Provide expert guidance on accreditation standards and credentialing matters to leadership and clinical teams
• Investigate and resolve complaints, summarize findings, and report recommendations to executive leadership and the board
• Supervise and mentor staff, building a high-performing team through coaching, communication, and effective performance management

Qualifications

• RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Minimum five years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years of experience supervising healthcare professionals
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and influence change across an organization
• Comfort with travel by jet, small aircraft, and ferry as part of role duties

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field (preferred)
• CPHQ certification (required within 18 months of hire)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Quality Management, Accreditation, and Regulatory Compliance
• Infection prevention and control, patient safety, and risk management knowledge
• Proficiency with performance improvement methodologies including PDSA
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records and quality measurement reporting
• Strong program planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management abilities
• Ability to analyze financial and ethical implications of health program decisions
