Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient vital signs accurately and promptly
• Assist the nursing team with bedside care and clinical tasks as delegated
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to support excellent outcomes
• Support patient mobility and comfort, helping improve quality of life during each shift

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification in the state of California
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts (07:00 PM - 07:00 AM)
• Prior experience as a nursing assistant preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility health screening
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital sign measurement and clinical observation
• Charting and documentation best practices
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Team collaboration and effective communication under pressure
• Time management during busy shift periods
