Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by being dependable and professional

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• California CNA certification or eligible to work in California (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with 12-hour day shifts and fast-paced patient care environments
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
• Valid work authorization for the United States

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and safety
• Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection prevention and hand hygiene practices
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Ability to follow care plans and report patient changes promptly
• Compassion, patience, and attention to patient dignity
