Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients across all ages and acuity levels
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate urgent care plans
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Participate in specialty skills competency testing and maintain required certifications
• Advocate for patients and families with compassion and clear communication

Qualifications

• Current, verifiable RN license (license/certificate verification required)
• Certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC
• Emergency Nursing experience (ED RN) with comfort in high-acuity situations
• Completion of Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements: Fit Test, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement, and Trinity 10-panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong ED triage and rapid assessment skills
• Proficiency in ACLS and PALS protocols
• Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients and prioritize care
• Skilled in IV access, medication administration, and emergency interventions
• Excellent communication and teamwork under pressure
• Familiarity with ED documentation and specialty competency processes
