Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver resident care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care
Administer treatments and medications safely and document all direct and indirect nursing care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to implement and update the physician's plan of care
Interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into resident care plans
Educate residents and their families or significant others to support positive outcomes and independence
Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to promote quality resident care and measurable improvements

Qualifications

Current California RN license required
Current certification in CPR required
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with the nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation
Skilled in medication administration and nursing documentation
Able to interpret diagnostic tests and formulate effective plans of care
Strong collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Culturally competent care and resident education skills
Familiarity with performance improvement techniques to drive better resident outcomes

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $7,500
Compensation scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
Pay progression based on years of relevant experience
