Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour day shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status with attention to detail
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California licensure expected for assignments in-state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS as required by unit
• Per-diem or acute care experience preferred, with comfort in fast-paced settings
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• Reliable professional references and ability to pass required background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and clear clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond effectively to changing patient needs and emergent situations
• Time management and multi-tasking in a high-acuity environment
