Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, intervening when needed
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care and changes in condition clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and transitions
Respond promptly to emergency situations and escalate concerns appropriately
Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications (ACLS) a plus
Comfortable working independently on night shifts and prioritizing workload
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Current clinical experience in acute care or med-surg settings is preferred

Education

Nursing diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Proficiency with medication administration and IV care
Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
Critical thinking, triage, and prioritization during busy night shifts
Teamwork, adaptability, and a calm presence in urgent situations
