Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (Med/Surg); specific start/end times and days to be confirmed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients, prioritizing safety and comfort
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care thoroughly
Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes, escalating concerns as needed
Educate patients and families on condition management, discharge planning, and follow-up care
Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse licensure (able to practice in New Hampshire or hold a compact license as applicable)
Experience or clinical comfort working on a Medical-Surgical unit
Current BLS certification required; additional certifications encouraged
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Familiarity with Med/Surg protocols, medication administration, and IV therapy
Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Collaborative mindset and effective patient/family education techniques
