Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (exact start/end times and days to be scheduled by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that makes a measurable difference
Carry out assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
Document patient care and interventions clearly and timely
Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
Follow facility policies and infection control standards to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - ideal if eligible to practice in Pennsylvania
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred where applicable
Clinical experience in acute care or related setting is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team
Professional, reliable, and committed to patient safety and quality care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
Medication administration and treatment implementation
Electronic medical record documentation
Patient and family education techniques
Prioritization, time management, and delegation skills
Ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced situations
