Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality labor and delivery nursing care, including support in C-sections (scrub and circulate duties as needed)
• Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation to keep moms and babies safe
• Deliver emergency care when situations arise, staying calm and decisive under pressure
• Float between L&D and mother-baby units as needed to ensure continuity of care
• Serve as a supportive preceptor when called upon, mentoring newer staff and travelers
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic, including adherence to Epic hardstops and facility charting standards
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create meaningful, patient-centered birth experiences

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP
• Experience in Labor/Delivery, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care
• Precepting skills preferred
• Locals accepted; first-time travel clinicians are welcome

Education

• Nursing degree (ADN/BSN) preferred
• Active RN licensure required (state-specific; pending not accepted)

• Scrub and circulate for C-section procedures
• Mother-baby/unit float experience
