Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients
Assess patients continuously and implement nursing interventions
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to create and adjust care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient status, trends, and responses to interventions
Educate patients and families about care plans and progress in a clear, respectful way
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted RN license valid in California
Experience working in an ICU or critical care environment
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required depending on unit
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills
Ability to work independently on per diem shifts and integrate quickly with existing teams
Up-to-date immunizations and any facility-mandated health requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proven critical care skills including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Familiarity with ICU documentation systems and electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex patients
Comfortable with rapid decision-making in high-acuity situations
