Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (overnight), days vary

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Document care and charting clearly and promptly in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Respond to patient and family needs with professionalism and empathy
Support new or traveling staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse credential (LPN or RN)
Current, unrestricted nursing license in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain
Comfortable with 12+ hour overnight shifts and per-diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Previous acute care or long-term care experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN associate/BSN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to manage patient care safely during overnight hours
Charting and electronic medical record familiarity
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
