Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality imaging in the OR and bedside using portable X-ray and C-arm equipment
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures and assist the surgical team during intraoperative imaging
• Operate PACS and document imaging in Epic accurately and timely
• Prepare and, when authorized, administer contrast media safely following protocol
• Start peripheral IVs when required to support contrast administration or patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff
• Deliver compassionate patient care across ages — from neonates to geriatrics — including portable and bedside procedures
• Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions to keep patients safe

Qualifications

• OR experience required — must have prior operating room imaging experience
• Minimum 1 year of relevant radiology experience (portable/OR/fluoroscopy preferred)
• Pending CA state license accepted; CA state license preferred
• ARRT (R), BLS, and Fluoro Permit preferred
• Experience with Epic charting and PACS is required
• Comfortable with mobile/C-arm procedures and intraoperative imaging workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Portable X-ray and bedside imaging expertise
• Fluoroscopy and C-arm procedural experience
• Proficiency with PACS and Epic documentation
• Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba imaging equipment
• Radiation safety and infection prevention best practices
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration
• Capability to image across patient populations: pediatric to geriatric
• Experience with trauma imaging and ERCP studies a plus
