Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff to keep the clinic humming with efficiency
• Deliver direct patient care by taking vital signs and gathering key medical history
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, making them feel confident and cared for
• Support doctors in specimen collection and preparation with precision
• Handle informed consent forms and surgical packets to ensure smooth operations
• Administer injections under physician supervision, impacting patient health directly
• Notify patients of test results and care plans, empowering them on their wellness journey

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience to bring your expertise to the team
• Active Medical Assistant Certification, a must-have for this role
• BLS (AHA) certification to ensure top safety standards
• Own vehicle for reliable transportation during the assignment
• Previous travel experience highly preferred for seamless adventures
• Live outside 100-mile radius, as local candidates need not apply

Education

• Medical Assistant Certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills for vital signs and history taking
• Proficiency in specimen collection, injections, and procedure prep
• Comfort with MediTech EMR system
• Excellent communication for patient education and result notifications
