Neurologist
Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Start Date: 05-03-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Varied 24-hour shifts including weekdays 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM onsite with 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM night call) and 24-hour weekend call 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM
Candidate Pay Rate: $228 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide onsite hospital coverage and inpatient call to ensure patient safety
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits seeing 6-8 patients per day
- Perform essential procedures like lumbar punctures and EEG reads
- Interpret radiologic exams and evoked potentials with precision
- Deliver brain death examinations when needed
- Collaborate using Cerner EMR for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible Neurologist
- Active Michigan medical license
- Current immunizations including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid, TB, and TDAP
- Experience in neurology procedures and hospital coverage
Education
- Medical degree with Neurology specialization and residency completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in Neurology and EEG interpretation
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Skilled in radiologic exam interpretation
- Competent in lumbar punctures, brain death exams, and evoked potentials
