Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 24-hour call shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG with arterial revascularization and redo cases
- Execute heart valve repair and replacement surgeries with precision
- Manage general thoracic procedures like tube thoracostomy, VATS, and pericardial windows
- Lead ICU management for high-risk cases including Impella procedures and critical care
- Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR and cath lab settings
Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Heavy experience in adult cardiac surgery required
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
- Comfort with adult and geriatric patient demographics
Education
- Medical degree with specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in CABG using internal mammary and radial arteries
- Skilled in heart valve surgeries and thoracic procedures
- Strong ICU management for critically ill cardiac patients
- Familiarity with structural heart support in hybrid environments
