Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the cardiac cath lab, providing expert procedural support and patient advocacy
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation safely and in accordance with protocols
• Perform clinical monitoring (hemodynamics, telemetry) and respond promptly to changes
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately using Merge
• Assist physicians during a wide range of procedures (LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral and endovascular procedures)
• Maintain sterile technique, prepare and check cath lab equipment (Philips, Siemens) and supplies
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely flow and excellent patient experience
• Participate in on-call duties and handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Demonstrated cath lab circulating experience and competency in moderate sedation (must have)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (as listed)
• Comfortable with Merge documentation; Merge experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens cath lab equipment preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures (LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP)
• Skilled in moderate sedation monitoring and airway/respiratory assessment
• Proficient with Merge electronic documentation
• Ability to assist with mechanical circulatory support devices (ECMO, Impella)
• Experience with device procedures (ICD/PPM) and peripheral/endovascular AAA interventions
• Excellent communication, situational awareness, and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems and lab workflows
