Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform accurate laboratory testing using Cobas, Sysmex and Stago instrumentation
• Conduct blood bank procedures and ensure safe handling of blood products
• Run and interpret urinalysis and limited microbiology testing with attention to quality
• Follow quality control protocols and maintain precise documentation in the LIS
• Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver timely, patient-centered results
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and escalate when needed to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and follow infection control standards
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency and patient care

Qualifications

• Current state MLT license required
• National MLT license required
• Experience with Cobas, Sysmex and Stago instrumentation preferred
• Proven blood bank, urinalysis and basic microbiology experience
• Able to work alternating weekends as part of a team schedule
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Instrumentation: Cobas, Sysmex, Stago operation and maintenance
• Blood bank procedures, crossmatch, and transfusion safety
• Urinalysis techniques and microscopic analysis
• Fundamentals of clinical microbiology (limited scope)
• Quality control, regulatory compliance, and lab safety practices
• Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) data entry and result verification
