Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night shift / Overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to residents during overnight hours
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and urgent needs

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license (ability to practice in Maine preferred)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or med-surg settings is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with overnight clinical responsibilities and documentation

Education

LPN: Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and monitoring of adult patients
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Familiarity with electronic health record charting
Ability to triage and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
Compassionate patient-centered care and strong customer service
