Shift Type: Per diem (varies), Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor and assess patient status, reporting changes promptly to the care team
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure excellent continuity of care
Support admissions, discharges, and safe transitions during night coverage
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential as indicated (Class: LPN|RN)
Ability and willingness to work per diem night shifts (overnight coverage)
Basic life support (BLS) certification — or willingness to obtain upon hire (if required by facility)
Compassionate patient care mindset, strong communication, and teamwork orientation

Education

LPN: Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
RN: Completion of an accredited Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and team members
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively during overnight events
Familiarity with electronic charting and standard nursing workflows
