Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule as needed), 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe bedside care to assigned patients during the night shift
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
Perform thorough documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes as needed

Qualifications

Current LPN or RN license in good standing (state-appropriate)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications encouraged
Comfortable working per diem night shifts and adapting to variable schedules
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Education

LPN: Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of nursing care and medication administration
Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Accurate electronic and paper charting practices
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs overnight
Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
