Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Assess and monitor patient status; document changes and communicate with the care team
• Perform thorough shift handoffs and maintain clear, timely documentation
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Respond calmly and effectively to urgent situations and assist as needed

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (as applicable) — must be in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire) is highly recommended
• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to per-diem scheduling
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and vital-sign monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Basic nursing procedures and infection control practices
• Effective clinical communication and handoff reporting
• Ability to use electronic medical records and charting systems
