Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN, making each day better for patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility protocols
Assess residents’ health status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
Document care and resident responses clearly and timely in the medical record
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions
Coach and mentor CNA staff when appropriate, helping maintain high standards of care
Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes

Qualifications

Current LPN license in good standing (Maine license preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (or obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with medication administration, basic wound care, and routine nursing procedures
Ability to pass standard background checks and immunization/TB screening per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent vocational nursing training

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Basic nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
Charting and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or willingness to learn
Infection control principles and safe patient handling
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in fast-paced situations
