Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living needs
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical changes, escalating concerns when needed
Document care in the clinical record clearly and timely to support continuity
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to implement care plans
Educate patients and families on care, medications, and follow-up instructions
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow facility policies and infection control practices

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — eligible to practice in Maine preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with medication administration and basic clinical assessments
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and basic patient monitoring
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic medical/health records or willingness to learn
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
