Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, focusing on dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
Observe, record, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Help with meal assistance and feeding while promoting independence
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and practice infection control
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Current TB test and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Successful background check and drug screening
Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with residents and team
Comfortable working with elderly populations and supportive during mealtimes and personal care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of ADLs and resident-centered care
Ability to take and record basic vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
Good documentation and charting habits
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
