Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide compassionate hands-on care and emotional support to residents
Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to maintain independence
Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

GNA certification (required) — state-specific credential for geriatric nursing assistants
Comfort and availability to work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
Ability to follow care plans and document duties clearly

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with personal care and resident assistance
Basic knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Teamwork-minded, dependable, and resident-focused
