Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and charting
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient-centered outcomes
• Offer emotional support and clear communication to patients and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (active and in good standing)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible per diem schedule
• Comfort with direct patient care, lifting, and mobility assistance
• Pass required background checks, health screenings, and immunizations

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
• Proficiency taking and recording vital signs
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Comfortable with electronic charting or willingness to learn
