Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients from newborns through geriatrics following adopted clinical protocols
Perform thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate or adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Manage chronic disease care and preventive health visits with a focus on patient education and evidence-based practice
Consult with and refer to supervising physicians as needed to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Document patient encounters and care plans accurately and timely in the medical record
Contribute to a positive clinic environment by communicating clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Current California Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required if applying for inpatient privileges
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a primary care clinic strongly preferred
Strongly preferred English/Spanish bilingual skills

Education

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment across the lifespan, from newborns to seniors
Familiarity with primary care clinical protocols and treatment initiation
Experience managing acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting
Good clinical judgment with the ability to collaborate with supervising physicians
Strong patient communication, documentation, and care coordination skills
Bilingual Spanish is a plus for patient engagement in this community
